CHOOSING A COUNSELLOR - The right person for you.

It is generally accepted that the relationship between the counsellor and the person seeking counselling is an important part of the counselling process. Finding a counsellor that you feel you can work with and that is the right type of counsellor for you could require a bit of trial and error. To this end I offer an initial £25.00 appointment.

COUNSELLING - My Aim

Working as a counsellor my aim is to help people who wish to look at their thoughts and feelings gain an understanding about themselves and their relationship with others. I aim to help you find a different perspective and/or clearer picture of any issues that you may bring. I do this by providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment so that you are able to express yourself freely and at your own pace. I also aim to work with you to help you feel more settled within yourself.

COUNSELLING - About you

Each 50 minute session is about you. You maybe someone who has things on their mind that they feel they want to look at. Or you could be having a difficult time with your feelings and are looking for someone to help you make sense of things. It might be that you feel that you have unresolved issues from the past, or may find it difficult to cope with the present. Alternatively you might want to learn more about yourself and/or gain a better understanding about the things that you say and/or do.

COUNSELLING - About me

I am an Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (www.bacp.org.UK) and as such adhere to their rules and code of ethics. I am also a Registered Independent Counsellor with the UKRCP.

COUNSELLING - Appointments and Fees

We would normally meet once a week at the same time for 50 minutes. First appointments usually take a bit longer and are all priced at £25.00 the fee is negotiable for subsequent appointments.

I offer Time limited and Open ended counselling. The counselling sessions are normally held in Bosham at Hamblin Hall where I rent a room. (www.thehamblintrust.org) To make an appointment please email or telephone the above number. I will reply to all messages asap.
